Individual Therapy

I see therapy as a tool that may be used many times in life for a variety of reasons. In my mind, we might never be “done” with therapy because life will present us with challenges and opportunities that require the support of a therapist to navigate. I work with Black women to explore their identities, navigate relationships, and figure out how to prioritize themselves in their lives to have more access to ease, rest, joy, and pleasure.

My goal in therapy is to help you feel seen, heard, and validated as well as challenged to see new perspectives. Since we may only see each other once a week or once every other week, it is important for me to help you identify the ways you can take what you learn in therapy and apply it in your life.
